Modern Dell computers no longer come with a CD-ROM containing the Operating System, so you will often wonder what happens when you need to reinstall it, what will you do?
Although Dell doesn’t publicise this very well, there is often a hidden restore partition on your hard drive.
To access it, press CTRL + F11 as your Dell boots. You should then enter the restore partition utility.
Warning, restoring your computer will delete everything with no possible way of recovering files on your hard drive(s). Be sure to backup everything on the hard drive(s) before you perform this procedure. We take no responsibility for your mistakes.
